In February 2020, farmers in Sanya Juu (about an hour’s drive from our Center) were clearing land for a new agricultural field. As they were slashing the grass, they removed the kittens’ cover and suddenly these two little spotted kittens appeared out in the open, fiercely hissing at everyone around them. The farmers were convinced the were dealing with leopard cubs and called the Center for help. The vets went to rescue and since then the kittens are growing and are having fun with their surrogate mother, a domestic cat called Pesa.
