This little guy will hopefully grow into a silvery cheeked hornbill one day… It was brought to us by some kids who had taken it out of its nest, as they had been wondering for a long time what the adult birds were busy with up in the tree.
This is why our Bush School program is so important – it helps to educate kids about the do’s and dont’s on how to experience nature WITHOUT doing harm to the animals.
