Hadada Ibis Kwarara

His story

Kwarara fell out of his nest when he was a juvenile bird and must’ve broken his wing and his leg during this accident. Luckily, he was rescued and brought to the KiliCREW. He was raised and his leg recovered very well, but his wing remains with a damage.

After recovery this bird was permitted to roam free all day, and returned voluntarily back into the cage (with the cattle egret) every night. Flying abilities improved and the bird was permitted to self-release based on its own level of confidence. He now roams the farmland together with the Egrets and meeting wild Ibis.
